Plain language, no tricks. instabid.lol is a for-fun leaderboard — these terms explain what that means for you.

What this site is
instabid.lol is an entertainment project. It shows a public leaderboard of Instagram handles ranked by a bid value. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta in any way.
No account needed
There is no sign up, no login and no password. Anyone can add a public Instagram handle to the board. Because of that, appearing on the board does not mean the account owner put themselves there.
Bids
A bid is the total amount you have paid for a handle, and it is the only thing that decides that handle's position on the board. The minimum first bid is $5, and to move above another listing you must reach at least $5 more than its current total. When you raise your own listing you are charged only the difference between your new total and what you have already paid.
Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Your rank changes only once Polar confirms the payment.
Bids are final and non-refundable. Paying does not reserve or guarantee any position: someone else can outbid you at any time, and if they do you stay listed at whatever rank your total still holds. Paying less than the top total still puts you on the board at the rank that amount can take. Bids are whole US dollars.
There are no prizes, dividends or payouts attached to a rank. You are paying for placement on a novelty leaderboard and nothing else. If we remove a listing for breaching the rules below, we are not obliged to refund it.
Acceptable use
- Public handles only. Don't add private accounts or accounts you know don't want to be listed.
- No harassment. Don't use the board to target, shame or pile on a person.
- No automation. Don't script, scrape or flood the add endpoint.
- No illegal content. Don't use the site for anything unlawful.
We can remove any entry and block any traffic at our discretion, without notice.
Getting removed
If your handle is on the board and you want it gone, email yash@typethink.ai from an address you control, or message us on Instagram. We will remove it. You do not have to explain why.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. Profile data comes from third parties and may be wrong, stale or missing. There is no guarantee the site stays online, keeps your entry, or preserves the board.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. This is a joke leaderboard — please treat it as one.
Changes
These terms may change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
